Ingredients
- 32 ounces mushrooms
- 4 TABLEspoons butter (half a stick)
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 4 TEAspoons fresh parsley, minced
- 1/2 TEAspoon black pepper
- 1/2 TEAspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 TEAspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400° F.
- Wash mushrooms and pull stems
- Finely chop the mushroom stems.
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the mushroom stems in the butter for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes add in:
- Cream cheese
- Half of the parmesan cheese
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Parsley
- Stir until well combined and the cream cheese is completely melted. Remove mixture from the pan to a bowl and set aside to slightly cool.
- Spoon filling into each mushroom cap and top with remaining parmesan cheese
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
